Hello SOTGC community,
In continuing to develop my daily disciplines of the things that get me in the right frame of mind to serve God by loving others well, meet my client’s most personal needs, and move my life and business forward with great and exciting momentum, I’m experiencing the power of giving thanks. As we celebrate an important part of our nation’s history this week and join our biological and chosen family and friends to give thanks for the things that fill and bless our lives, I turn to my Joy Journal and am in awe of the many wonderful things that come to me daily. This reminder through documentation of real favor on my life stops doubt and fear in their tracks and has taught me that when our hearts are thankful, there is power to change the world in which we live. It is my sincerest hope that in the pages from my total beauty diary you find here, you will be inspired to find your personal beautiful, absolutely love the way your skin looks and feels (and the way you feel in your own skin J) and confidently take your careers and lives to the next level. So, from a deeply grateful and humble heart, thank you for joining me here, reading my personal stories and including me on your team of experts.

The holidays are in full swing and today we’re going to have some fun! This is an interactive post and I hope you’re able to carve out a few moments for yourself this weekend between eating leftover Turkey, noshing on latkes while celebrating the middle of Hanukkah’s eight days (a unique result of this year’s calendar oddity) and tree trimming to try something new with your most stand out feature – your eyes. If your family is anything like mine, there will be plenty of cameras and phones flashing away and photos of you that have not been pre-approved being instantly posted to Facebook and Instagram. (I’m on a personal mission to stop some of the “insanity” of noses in technology when face to face interaction is available and so much more meaningful. But I digress…) And don’t you want to look GORGEOUS in these instaface-photo-posts and fun family portraits? Well then, we need to get your eyes in focus!
Our eyes express a great deal of emotion, are the first thing people see when meeting us face to face, some even believe that the eyes are the windows to our soul. So, let’s give ‘em somethin’ to talk about this season with a new look for your eyes- the ever coveted how-to of the smokey eye. It can be used in golds, browns and pinks for day time and silvers and charcoals for evening glam. But first, we must know our eye shape.
